At Complex Castalia, mealtimes are part of the experience. Every dish is prepared daily in the guesthouse kitchen using fresh ingredients and recipes inspired by local gastronomy. Fish is sourced consistently from local suppliers and cooked the same day, to preserve the authentic flavour of the Danube Delta. For this reason, menus may vary depending on the daily catch and the season. Meals are served in an organised manner at set times, in a relaxed setting reserved exclusively for resident guests. The kitchen does not operate à la carte — dishes are prepared daily for all guests, ensuring that the freshness of ingredients and the quality of food are always maintained. Menus frequently feature fish dishes typical of the region. For children or guests who do not eat fish, alternatives are prepared using the ingredients available on the day.

Dishes cannot be chosen individually from a menu, as everything is cooked daily for all resident guests.

For the comfort of all guests and to preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the property, consuming food or beverages brought from outside is not permitted on the premises. The property also does not have facilities for barbecuing or individual cooking.
